Pierrot Costume

Amongst the costumes I also found two Pierrot costume, not as old as the others but still a great find.

I could not help my self as soon as I found then I slipped them on over my clothes and walked around with it one for over an hour. Yes it is huge on me but I love it..

Vintage Costumes.

I've been going throughout the Costume store at work, and hidden at the back on a top rail out of sight I found a lode of clown costumes. I could not resist, I had to take some photos.

(The company I work for was set up 35 year ago -roughly Give or take two or three years.- and we think these could have been some of their first costumes)

The start of the art work for the inside of the bigtop. 

This is the performers entrance At the back of the  ring. 

Locked doors waiting to be opened. To release the creatures whom reside with in this circus.

Created by two lengths of trussing with scaffold holding a beaten up sign 

"Welcome To Phantom Circus" 

The doors are a welled puzzle of sheet metal. 

Its to help to create a dark yet magical effect for the circus. This design is also used in one of the concept ideas for the entrance for the circus, Phantom Circus Art Work XIII. 

Its in away suggesting the doors to your imagination, how ever old you are. or even the doors to heaven or the doors to hell. Angles. Demond's these are all things that you will find here.

The outside of the big top.
This is one of many designs for the bigtop. This one is for the entrance. 
The entrance is created by Trussing which supports a platform which allows for a performance space, to be used as the audience is entering the bigtop.

Day of The Dead make up design for a Performer.
Flowers and Ribbons in the hair for female performers . Male performers will have colour streaks in their hair.
